Calipers painted

Went with blue since everyone always does red. I love it. $20 and a few hours time.

Not a bad idea didn't want to mess with doing that though.. I don't think I've seen anyone do that? I'd have to remove calipers and brake lines probably ..

The caliper comes off very easy. The brake line can be left connected. The blue looks good!

Nice little touch Looks really good, hope you're happy with the blue!

Can't really tell, do you have stripes, if not, thinking about matching that blue with any?

No stripes. All black on exterior but blue accents in interior and under hood.

Thanks guys. I have already got a few people at stop lights who gave me the thumbs up on them. One guy at grocery store parking lot says he always sees red and loves the blue. Something different anyway.

I used this kit - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Worked great. Just make sure to do a few coats. I have some paint left over for touch ups, and through the process kicked the can down (doh!). Still have plenty left for touch ups. I put the decal on and then clear coated over the top of the decal.

So is it better to brush the paint on or spray it on? Which last longer? G2 Brake Caliper Paint 2-Part Epoxy Kit Hi-Heat I heard is the best and last!
