Sounds like a good plan. I will try to make it that night as well. I'm sure I can get a couple of us here in Fremont to head down.

Hey it's Cruise night in Kearney this year. If you have never been, it's where all the greatest cars get together and show and shine. And Saturday night is the big night for cruise the strip and showing off your ride.

I generally try to get there around 6PM, it starts at 5:30 and goes to closing but we are usually out of there by 7:30 so we can go eat pizza with "crack" in it at Big Fred's!

I guess they had around 140 cars out there last night, I was surprised. But when Speedway puts out the word everybody comes running!

Not really, everybody is respectful and parks like a car show. The Security gaurd came over and told me to move over so I didn't take up two spaces, which I was in the process of doing when he got there. I have not heard of anyone having trouble. Beandip is cooler than I am so him and his posse roll in together and usually park in a nice straight row.

At Big Fred's, we park together way up on the top of the hill or along the backside of the building and then have Sherpas and Llamas carry us up and down the hill!

I had a blast at the Motorsport Park Hastings Harchelroad Motors MPH track days
Fun facts about the weekend.
The track is made of special asphalt that is easier on your tires. I ran three tanks of fuel over two days and could barely notice any tread wear.
The crew that ran the track and familiarization school were great. Everyone I met over the weekend was super nice and I enjoyed the camraderie.
Heads up 1/8 mile drag racing is a lot of fun. We had a great mix of driver skills and cars.
Harchelroad Motors is a great track sponsor. They brought a fleet of Callaway Corvettes, a Callaway Camaro, and even a Callaway Truck. My favorite ride-a-long was the Harchelroad Motors number 79 fully prepped race corvette. After two laps of blasting around the track I was hooked.
I also enjoyed racing with Steve (Camaro5: Pony) He ran very well and even pulled a surprising win in the 1/8 mile against a very nice modified Pro-Street Camaro. Attached are some pictures my wife took.

Also if anyone is looking for a new exhaust, my 3" magnaflow system is for sale. I'm going a different route, I want it louder. If interested PM, I'm not looking to make a killing on this either, so it's a good deal for someone who want a near new system.
