Yep drove it home last nite, it just has some problems transitioning from on throttle going back to idle. Just gotta drive around it till we can finish tuning it.

BTW this is the 248Hw Model dynojet. The rollers are 25% heavier than a 224xLC model! So it dyno about as hard as a mustang dyno. But Mustang dynos use weight loading.

This model of dynojet is meant for Light Truck applications.

As for driveability. I talked with Dan about it. Might have to try shutting the LTFT off. My GTO has the same exact problem Transitioning from cruise to idle on rapid decel. And will die if you dont blip the throttle. I shut the LTFT off and it has never done it again. The problem is that the car gets over fueled on Decel. The extra load from the added 4% of fuel is to much on the car and kills the engine. Big cams work fine on Short Term Fuel Trims and you never have to work about missing your target WOT AFR with added fuel from your Long Terms

Just some food for thought on anyone tuning or wondering about how fuel trims work:

Your stock (Narrow Band) o2 sensors are always trying to keep the car 14.7:1 AFR (stoich) when @ idle or cruise. The PCM keeps track on the amount of fuel need to be added/subtracted to hit this target with a % value to reach 14.7 consistently. It keeps all current and instant data of this percentage via your Short Term Fuel Trims (STFT). Then the GM programming goes a little farther and takes the average of all your STFT's and compiles them in another percentage. This is called Long Term Fuel Trims (LTFT). The purpose of the LTFT's is to adjust the STFT as close to 0% as possible.

The problem in a large cam or performance stand point is the car has become less stable at idle than stock. So the fuel trims bounce all over the place at idle and low cruise. Where the cam is less stable than stock. So eventually the LTFT will try to stable them out and in most cases add FUEL to be on the safe side. Finally in a performance perspective. The LTFT can also add fuel to your Wide Open Throttle Air Fuel Ratio!!! So lets say your car makes its best whp/wtq @ 12.76:1 AFR. If you had been cruising around town all day with your large cam you could possibly have a 4-5% positive LTFT. Which would mean the car would now add 4-5% extra fuel @ WOT. so now you would have a WOT AFR of something like 12.2-12.3 AFR and making less WHP/WTQ.

i added it up and with tune i have just under $4500 in everything i have done. I did all the work myself which saves a ton, and also took a year to acquire all the parts watching for good deals.
