Cordes Performance Racing & Sales Mesa AZ

So I decided to finally put a cam in my 2010 Camaro SS. After weeks of research on forums such as camaro5.com I was almost ready to pull the trigger. I figured I would start to call performance shops in Arizona and pick one to do the install and tune. I contacted the most commonly used performance shops and all of them provided an emailed quote. Of all the quotes provided only one shop made me feel like a true customer and not just a drive through money machine. Joe @ Cordes Performance in Mesa Arizona was the only one that took the time to talk to me about my goals and future plans for the car. Once on the phone with Joe I quickly realized he is a true car enthusiast and honest upfront guy. After countless emails and phone calls I sent to Joe he always answered my questions with a smile and provided invaluable car knowledge. We decided on a custom ground cam and milled heads with a ported manifold to complete the package. I dropped the car off at the end of the week and a few days later my car was ready to be driven home. Needless to say the car sounds amazing and the power is felt throughout the entire RPM range. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone who is looking for a performance shop that houses honest, hard working and knowledgeable techs. His prices are the best in town and the knowledge and support provided is second to none.

Glad to hear more good things about them. (Never heard anything negative) We might be moving back to Mesa soon, so its good to have somewhere out there that I can trust that knows these cars. I do my own work, but like somewhere that I can get new ideas and help with what parts to go with!!

Agree 100% with Striker. Recently had a Borla Axle Back Exhaust installed by CPR. Wasn't sure if I wanted/needed an Axle Back versus Cat Back (I'm a newbie). Met Joe when I went to get a quote and like Striker said, Joe took the time to talk with me about what my future plans/mods were.

Since I plan on some Kooks LTH he flat out told me to get the Axle Back since I would have to replace the mid section on a Cat Back when I upgrade to LTH. Saved me several hundred dollars on this purchase. When I had the exhaust installed there was another Camaro in the shop that they had installed a cam in along with several other goodies. Joe spent 15/20 minutes with me going over what they had done and what could be expected in performance from these upgrades.

I love the improved exhaust note of the new exhaust and look forward to having the LTH installed by CPR. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Just went to the CPR Facebook page and saw a pic of my car during the exhaust install (White with IOM stripes). I also stand corrected in that the other Camaro I saw there did not have a Cam installed but new cylinder Heads.

Got my car done there too. I got a HUGE cam and I love it. He has swapped a transmission among other things too. I sometimes just go to shoot the sh*t with him. Very cool guy.

^^ Is that your car in the Facebook vid? How is that cams driveability? He said the specs are close to what I have now, just drives better. Does it buck below 1000rpm? Man or Auto? Thanks!
