I wanted to stop in and give everyone an update. We have decided not to try the VVT and Rhino is currently spec'ing out a custom grind cam for me. Should be ordering everything this week and now that work is beyond busy I'm hoping to try and take a few days off in Oct to go have everything installed. We will be adding cam and of course cam kit and an under drive pulley.

This damn oilfield I went from dead in the water to now being gone working for 3 weeks with no end in sight as to when ill go home for a few days. The Ol Lady might be a little pissed that I'm going to be spending my only days off up at GPI but all I can say is RACECAR!!!

Will post more once I get everything in and get up there.

31 more days till GPI custom grind cam and 3.91 gear install!!!! The days seem to be getting longer and longer...........

Leaving back out for work for a week or two in the morning. Hopefully this will help the next 30 days go by faster than it has been!!!!

I pretty much decided when my 545 cam and PRC 255cc heads showed up on my doorstep lol. At this point I'm confident that I can make it to 500rwhp, and although it's just a dyno number, I am also confident that it will be a bad ass setup for the street and track. I've kept going back and forth between staying N/A and going FI, but right now it's too early to tell, so I'm going to focus on this setup. I still need head gaskets, and ARP head bolts, and then I will pretty much be all set, minus some oil, and an oil filter.

Man I forgot all about that and we were talking about it a week or so ago.

Thursday morning I'll be leaving out and making the 4.5 hour drive to GPI to have a custom grind LS3 cam installed that Rhino spec'd for me. Along with cam and supporting upgrades will be an Underdrive Pulley, 3.91 gears, JRE Posi Mod, shift light, and a seperate clutch reservoir.

I will update more on Thursday as I get the info from Rhino or he may post here on my behalf. Hope to have dyno numbers and sound clips up on Friday.

Drop the car off with Rhino this morning. If I'm lucky I might be able to get the first startup with the new cam this evening.

Right now I still have my factory 20's with Vredestien on the back. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to drop down to 18" or if I'm going to go with V6 calipers and run 17".
