ridergraphix.com a request

You guys would be benefitted by having a lot more pics and angles to view your decals. The wheel decals are interesting but with that one angle closeup I can't really tell what effect it gives the car in general, and the same can probably be said of a lot of your decals.

Just my 2 cents on it

could really use some further back shots for a lot of these things. There's a lot of decals you guys have that I am considering getting. The wheels, gills, rear blackout, fascia blackout.

Yeah, Id like to get the rear black out set, but I don't like how it doesn't cover all the way up to the tail lights.

There are some additional pics in our photo gallery here....
http://www.ridergraphix.com/customer...o_Gallery.html

Some of these items are too small that you cannot see them very well in a far away full car photo.

Autoguy, I received your bowtie decals today! The color orange you sent, does not match GM's IOM rally stripes. I hope you will in the future let other IOM buyers know that the orange you offer does not match!

I am going to give you the same answer I just posted on the other forum where you mentioned this......We never listed them as IOM or said they would match. If you would have asked, I would have told you that I have never seen IOM Stripes therefor I would not know if they matched.

I understand "buyer beware", and no............"You never listed them as IOM". All I am asking is that you add to your 2010 Camaro website page is a full description of items " Orange (not IOM)", so others may know this before they order. I just want to help the next forum member out, by them not assuming that because the only color "Orange" offered by GM on the 2010 Camaro is IOM, and that any supplier that advertizes "Orange" trim accessories for the 2010 Camaro on their website, does not mean it will be IOM in color. Any help you could give would be appreciated.

We only have one shape for these. The pics above are ones I personally installed. Please email or PM me pics so I can help you out. It sounds like they might have been installed wrong.

There was a big post bashing ridergraphics and I thought it was isolated but seems more and more little things keep popping up. I ordered my gills and bowtie blackouts from them that's such a small amount of vinyl I doubt it can be messed up but I think I'm ordering stripes from vinylgraphics. It's seems like ridergraphics/autoguy does a good job most of the time but all these little problems keep scaring me away.

There is no reason to be scared away. Look at our photo gallery. We have hundreds of happy customers. What you do not see or hear is the fact that most of the issues that come up are installer or customer created. We cannot guarantee an installation we do not do. As far as the color issue with the orange, I never listed anything as being IOM. It is impossible to try to imagine what every customer is going to think or assume. If I listed something as IOM and sent a totally different color, I could see where there would be an issue. All he needed to do is ask. I would have been happy to answer him, and if he wanted, I would have been happy so send a color sample to him at no charge. I have a customer right now that ordered a gray stripe for his Camaro. I sent him two different colors and he chose the one he wanted. We sent him his stripes in that color and he admitted he chose the wrong color. You don't see him in here crying because it was wrong. He thought enough to ask a question and I offered the samples. I do not know what rcphotographys problem is, but I am here to try and figure it out. I know for a fact that she was sent the exact same stripes that are pictured above. I would be willing to bet a large sum of money that the installer did not install them correctly. Once she sends me pics, I will see what the case is.

Please do not continue to fuel a smoldering fire that someone that did not ask a simple question started.

Just remember, word of mouth can either be your best, or worst form of advertisement! Good luck!!!

I am pleased with my hood spears and trunk black-out from ridergraphix - when my installer had questions on the hood spears I sent "autoguy" an email and we set up a quick conference call which answered the questions.

In the pics attached you can see that the spear doesn't run at the top of the cowl but sightly below to ensure it looks even as it travels toward the front edge. The vinyl must be wet installed and be flexible to allow for adjusting correctly - its tough stuff that's why I went to a pro and even he needed help which was quickly available.

I am happy with the install and the service I received from ridergraphix.

Unfortunately, as is often the case, the voice of the uneducated seems to be the loudest.

NOTE: Uneducated is not necessarily the same thing as stupid.

I have yet to see a complaint about Rider Graphix when the vinyl was actually installed correctly. And the installations have been blatantly wrong, in my opinion.

I'll still be ordering at least three vinyl packages from Rider Graphix. I'll install them myself and I'm fully confident they'll be flawless.

Ya know, at some point you guys(the customer) needs to be alittle responsible for your purchases. You got orange stripes, it advertises orange stripes, not iom. So maybe next time you need to pay attention before you buy. If you arent sure then you need to send him an email asking. Also as far as I know the stripes are all the same when cut as its a program on the plotter, its a shame that the case seems to be alot of folks choosing to install themselves or having some "pro" install their vinyl that doesnt know what they are doing making this vendor look bad. And getting on a forum and blasting a vendor when you have an issue is not the way to handle your business. If you have a problem, get with the vendor and try to correct the issue first before acting like some child and slamming them on the net. Yes sometimes they mess up, everyone does. But give them a chance to fix it first.

By no means am I "getting on a forum and blasting a vendor", I made the below reply trying to help fellow forum members, and hopefully get Autoguy to help out also. I think Autoguy's customer service speaks for itself, good or bad the truth will always float to the top.

I've been following the various threads about vinyl graphics mostly to decide what I like best and which vendor I'd do business with. IMHO autoguy has done a commendable job representing his product and providing installation advice. I will be going to ridergraphix when I make up my oldassed mind what I want. So autoguy...... the word of mouth thing... its working in your favor.

There is nothing wrong with that post. In fact it is a request that equally would help buyer AND seller avoid a potential issue by simply clarifying the description of said item for sale. Great post!

I understand what both of you are saying, and agree that it could be helpful... But I fail to understand who would imagine that a company completely separate from GM would offer vinyl in colors that match GM's "custom" color by default. That just doesn't compute...

It is getting to the point that I need to list white* and have *(not black) next to it so people understand I guess.
