AAC/Oracle is a RIPPOFF!

I purchased a Advance Automotive Concepts (Oracle) nite rider scanner light from Phaseteck Perfromance 7 months ago, and the control module went out. After contacting AAC they told me that it was under warranty and to fill out the paper work, and mail it in for repair/exchange. I contacted AAC and some "guy" told me I had a bad module, they will fix it, ad it will be sent back to me. After the holiday weekend, I got an email from "Jessica" @ AAC stating that she needed an invoice from Phaseteck who of course did not have me on file even though I had a receipt of purchase. After relaying this information back to "Jessica" and going back and forth she basically gave me the F-U and your are just shit out luck and to by an new one. No problem!!! ( I spent $76.00 on my standard blue light) She transferred my to another "nice" guy in sales who stated my grand total for the SAME LIGHT was $127.00. I checked him on it and this "Genius" said that Jessica was new on her job and she was mistaken on the price THAT I PAID FOR THROUGH PHASTECK! WARNING>>> If you deal with these people KEEP ALL PAPERWORK! Even the wrapping becuase they do not honor nor stand behind their products.

If you call them again ask for Melissa. She has always been great to deal with and has exchanged my broken parts every time. Good luck!

In all fairness, you should have gone through Phastek for warranty ...

Your receipt is an invoice. There shouldn't be any problem since you have proof of purchase. I refuse to purchase any AAC products due to quality and lack of customer service.

I just can't believe they charge over $100 for the LED backlit Chevy logo when you can buy one for a Chevy Cruze on ebay for $16...

Did they email you a copy of the purchase? All you need to do is print that out and use that.

This is the same reason why I refuse to do buisness with them. Some companies just get too big headed and they forget the customers that got them to where they are at today. When a company wants to make a buck from you for the littlest thing or make it difficult for you to get your issues resolved instead of just taking care of it, that's when I stop supporting that business!

Exactly. Considering the other options for lights on this forum, I'd rather go to those places.

All warranties that are submitted to Oracle Lighting/AAC must contain a copy of the receipt of purchase and the Warranty Request Form. If a receipt can not be provided we can not warranty the item. We do our best to find the receipt for the customer to ensure that they receive the warranty that is needed.

If you do order through third party and not directly through AAC you must also provide the receipt from that company to ensure the purchase.

We stand by our Warranty 100% and are happy to help our customers in any way. The documents we ask for are just to ensure the proof of purchase.

If anyone has any questions about the Warranty procedure, please feel free to contact me directly: Melissa[at]Oraclelights[dot]com

Very simple process that any reputable company would require.

OP says he has the invoice from Phastek... and here's a LINK to the warranty form

did you buy through phastek performance online? or call. can you contact your bank to find out the date was purchased and how much you paid for it?that way you can supply the date it was purchased for and how much. because technically no receipt, they think you got it from jo blow off the street and trying to get it replaced. its not there fault. it does suck though. go on ebay and get the knight rider light from china $20 free shipping AND 7 colors

Hey bud, sorry to hear about your frustrations with that product. I'm sure Oracle/AAC will get you taken care of, they always do.

As far as us having a record of your order, we keep everything. Your Receipt will actually have your order number on it. If you don't have the email copy of your receipt, I can send you another one with a click of a button; we can look up your account by your: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, billing address, etc etc etc. Give me a call or send me a PM with your name and I will send you your receipt, order number, date of purchase, history of purchases, etc etc.
