Flowmaster Outlaw VS American thunder

I cant decide between these two. i want the oldschool muscle sound and i want it to be loud enough to hear. will i get that with the American thunder? im afraid that the outlaw is going to be too raspy. thank you in advance for the replies! also its a stock ls3 if that helps.

I was looking at both of these and ended up going with Stainless works Retro chambered instead.. It was the best exhaust in my opinion and even better once I added headers.

I have the Outlaw catback too, and it is not raspy. It has popping on deceleration, but it sounds very deep at idle and part throttle and sounds awesome when you get on it.

I think im going to go with the outlaws! im eventually going to get longtubes and a cai in the near future, but will that make it unbearably loud? I think the louder the better but I want it to sound good ya know?

Definitely go with the Outlaws if you want to be heard. The AT sounds nice, but it's a bit milder. The Outlaw has no rasp whatsoever, just a deep, mean growl. Here's a video I took of mine.

I love it man I think outlaw is the one for me! I don't want to get the AT and wish it was more aggressive lol

I have lt headers and AT Catback. I think it great tone and volume.
I wanted louder for a while, but The outlaws I've heard lacked the tone I desired.
I'll add noweeds later to get the loudness when necessary.

no.. it's wicked at wide open throttle but can be pretty quiet if you are just at idle or low rpms... I will be cammed after the first week of June so I will be a little different at idle then...
Like i said I can let you hear it over the phone if you wanted.. or send you a video I go and make... I'm not the best and uploading stuff to the site.. I'm surprised I got the youtube video to upload lol

Heard my friends stainless works catback.Nice rumble at idle curise is"normal" Get on it is loud but not bad. Has a more muffled sound then my Outlaw axelback due to the resonated chambers, must be 6 of them.I like it better then mine when revving at a idle
