Talking Do These Tires Look Missused?

I am looking at this used camaro to buy. It has a little under 15,000 miles. I don't know if the tires are just dirty, or extensive burnouts and donuts were performed before trading in

It's a Camaro... You are supposed to do burnouts with it..

They look pretty good for that mileage. Most people on this forum say they get 20,000. They don't start with much tread to begin with.

Wow I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I got 20k out of a set lol

Mine are usually gone in half that time or less

OP they probably drove the car a little hard but that is what these cars are meant for, I would ask the dealer to knock off at least 1k since the tires need to be replaced if not 2k

Get the tread depth off of them, go to an auto parts and get a gauge and do it yourself. If they're gone I'd try to get the dealer to throw on some new p-zeros.

Looks like they drove it a little hard but not doing burnout 24/7 as they do have 15K miles on them. Like stated above best way to know is to get a tread depth gauge.

I know I would do the same, but that's just how I stated it lol.

And I'll make a thread about the car and see what you guys think about it.

Lol!!!
I got 26k out of my Pirellis.. They just look like they've been driven on a gravel road to me. But I'd check the rear tires with a depth gauge and if the wear is significantly more than the front tires, that should be a good indicator of how it has been driven.
