COMP, PRC, and FAST

The fun is about to begin.

Once again Matt @ FSP has been awesome and beyond helpful.

Goodies...
Custom ground 231/243 Comp Cam
PRC Stage 2 Heads
PRC Dual Springs with Titanium Retainers
Milled .0020
FAST 102mm Intake
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
C5R Timing Chain
LS7 Lifters
Hardened Pushrods

Disassembly will begin this week (hopefully) to get heads off to PRC.

Pieces are beginning to arrive.

Tuneable snout for me Vararam showed up yesterday and my Katech C5R chain is scheduled to get delivered today.
I began tearing the car apart and got about as far as I could without a fuel line tool to pull off the fuel lines. Hopefully get to the store to pick one up today.

Teardown went smoothly minus the fuel lines. The tool I purchased to remove them didn't work but luckikg you can move the out the way enough to work around.
Removed everything up to the timing cover, wait to do that til I have the can and parts here to reassemble right away
I'll be getting the heads off to PRC this week, ARP bolts should come tomorrow, cam kit Wednesday, FASTand everything else towards tthe end of week. Just right so I can get everything up to the heads done in the next couple weeks while they are out.

Nice build. Are you fly-cutting the pistons with running that cam and milling the heads?

With the arp bolts here is the torque sequence.

The large bolts are 75 ft lbs. You need to do it in 3 steps. 33/55/75
Dont forget to use the ARP lube on the bolts for the best results. The small bolts #11,12,13,14,15 are 22 ft lbs.

Also don't forget to ground all your wires back in their location.
Hope this helps

When I did my fuel lines my snap on kit was to thick to fit it. So I just took some sheet metal and cut it wrapped it around and used that.
