melling oil pump(low pressure)

yes, i torque d the bolts......when i first do a cold start up the pump goes to 40 ..no prob, after the the motor warms up the needle drops to right above 30..WOT PUMP GOES TO ABOUT 40...driving though town pump stays right below or above 30 psi....

do you think it could be the oil pressure sensor or the moble 5w30 im using??

i put it in with what ever spring came in it.. there was a extra red one...... i put the new green o ring that came with the melling pump

i made sure i did not touch the o ring, so i know that is fine, i even put that pick up tube support bracket that using both bolt holes, so i know that's not loose.....
is it alright to drive the car like this, with max psi going to 40 on WOT....

Ahh if you left the red one then you left the stock OP spring in it. No worries you have a better pump in your build bud. Did you go with the 10295 or 10296?
