Ls7 plugs=big win!!!

Been modding cars for a long time and it takes a bit to impress me! Something was telling me to go with the colder ls7 plugs in my car, installed some delco replacements yesterday and wow! I have a hole new car!
Results....
Much more low end power and throttle response
From a slow 2000rpm roll I can now stab the gas and blow the tires off it!
Power down low has much improved, before if I did this it would result in lugging the engine down and never breaking traction! I would have to be much higher in rpms for this to happen.

Cold start this morning... Resulted in a much crisper driving car, before the engine seem to need a solid worm up before it would run as smooth!

Turning engine off... Before plugs my engine had a slight shake and stumble turning it off, this is now completely gone!

If any of you cammed guys are running stock plugs, dump them! I don't know if these are having a positive effect on a so so tune or what, but its like I did a new mod!

Pretty much every cam package out there required colder plugs especially on the.bigger more radical cams.

Not a delco fan though much better plugs out there.

The stock ones are perfectly fine for a LT/CAI car.

Very interesting, was thinking about upgrading my plug wires, I guess I'll do both. I'm cammed but never read or heard about replacing the plugs.

I ran NGK TR6s in my '12. I'm running them in my '13. I used to run NGK all the time in my old Rustangs(in high school and college). No issues ever with these plugs. The corvette guys whine harder than the Camaro guys

O.P. I'm just glad to hear you got the stockers out though, and are enjoying your upgrade.

Ya I agree 100% all cars are different! Tr6 was my first choice, very popular in the ls1. My cam is a little lunati 217/228 .55/.565 lift on 112 lsa, this little cam is actually pretty awesome! I am pretty positive with some fine tuning and few basic things could get me 118 traps, I run this cam with the full stock valve train as well.

Guess I will have to bite... stock plugs here.

I never read about using different plugs when doing a cam. What is different about the LS7 plugs?

Part # anyone?

Get on it ASAP, I wish did this last year when I did my cam. Every time I turned my car off, that little sputter was pi$$ing me off! As far as the gain in power, if anyone remembers in some of my past post, I have always said my car feels like it pulls to much timing at low speed! A few gal of racing fuel seemed to help, we'll now what I was suspecting seems even more true! The colder plugs seem to be keeping my timing were it should be. This car has never had the grunt it has now! Hopefully I get my 1/8th speed up now were it should be.
