Wink Top secret Emblempros.com parts development

I managed to sneak into our garage and get these pictures...

There are many items on the way. We designed about 10 new things today, and we still have more to do. I think the finished product will look amazing - 18GA mirror stainless steel.

That's premium scotch tape and it adds $500 to the price.

In all seriousness, these will be laser-cut mirror stainless steel pieces that mount with 3M tape.

There are two holes to hold the Chevy bowtie - what are you using to cover them up? The pictures show the "Camaro" over the stock bowtie...

Yes, we know that. We are going to design the "CAMARO" letters to cover these holes. The applied 3M tape will seal the holes from any moisture entering the trunk.

I am going to make a stainless piece that replaces the plastic factory piece. By replacing it, the stainless piece is, by design, not as thick front to back, so it appears more recessed into the front bumper cover and gives the front end a more aggressive look. The factory piece just pulls straight out.

We are also doing side marker trim (front and rear), a cupholder switchplate, dash plaque, and several other items.

Like the Camaro emblem on the rear but IMHO I think they are too big...maybe shrink them down 25% so they don't go all the way across. I think it dominates the look too much. I was wondering if you had given any thought of doing the emblem in Cursive?

You will see many items pop up on the site next week.

Some items will have to wait a few weeks for GM licensing approval. Anything we make with a name or logo must be submitted to GM for an amended contract with new part #s.

In person, they looked like a good size. The truth is, it isn't up to us, it is up to the car. We have to scale them emblem so that the holes are covered under the bowtie. Too large or too small will not cover them - The lettering has to be just right.

Yeah, pictures never do this car or anything on the car justice....I hope you have them ready soon. I am planning on blacking out that panel and would like to get the "CAMARO" emblem on the back. I am ready to buy when they are ready.

Any chance you would do an SS emblem (Chrome with choice of color in the middle) to replace the Chevy Emblem on the grill?

Dash Plate

Have you thought about designing something for the dash at the glove box? I would be interested in something that could go there but that would not become a lethal projectile if the air bag goes off.

Maybe something like:

2010 Camaro Pre-Order
304 hp V6 Vin#xxxx
Built month day, 2009

I guess that Mustang drivers forget they're driving Mustangs, I guess that H2 drivers forget they're driving H2s, I guess that GTO drivers forget they're driving GTOs, I guess that Corvette drivers forget they're driving Corvettes, I guess that 93-02 Camaro drivers forget they're driving 93-02 Camaros, I guess that 93-02 Firebird drivers forget they're driving 93-02 Pontiacs, Saturns, Celicas, Eclipses, so on and so forth.

I think they put the name on the back for othe drivers to see and recognize the name. I am pretty sure the driver cannot see the back while they're driving.

I'm just offering parts to spruce it up.
