going from experience with my silverado, everyday normal driving caused a "peppering" effect on the rocker panels, I want to add the splash guards to prevent this, edog has them on his IOM car but I cannot seem to find a part number for ABM

and it does rain, and getting dirty water splashed on the car sucks. Or mud, or salt, or ice, etc.

anyone know if these are a simple install?

^^^They look to be. Think edog had his installed, but he may know more than most of us. I want some type of guard, but the ones GM is offering are just too short, meaning not elongated to look at least a bit like ground effects. Hoping aftermarkets come along soon, because hotrodzz4 is right, normal everyday driving will have the lower quarters chipped up in no time.

Installed 'em....

Not a problem installing them. Took about 45 min at most.
You turn the front wheels to install them, in order to do them the way I wanted I removed the rear wheels.

I installed mine with the car on the ground.
and a battery drill & driver tip on Ratichet set
You realy only need to drill a hole on front wheels and you can turn them to do this.
To tap a hole (last screw) under Car in lower rocker (all 4 courners) used a scorpian tip cabinet screw to tap a hole then install proper screw. lower rockers are heavy plastic. tap hole with Driver in ratichet.

Also had flares Simonized at dealer befor pick up.

Longest thing was washing and Drying Car befor install.
