BLACKED OUT CHROME (pics)
I just finished blacking out the bowties and the tail light trims let me hnow that you think. and tinted the windows

How did you black out the chrome on the tail lights

there is about 6 clips holding each piece in its not to hard

the pieces come off i sanded all the chrome off before i painted them

Sick! definitely something I'm looking to do, what primer/paint did you use? Did you black out the camaro fender emblems?

I used some spray paint for abs plastic and on the side emblems all the leters ate different pieces so it is going to b hard to line them back up

I am really liking the blacked out chrome on the taillights. It's subtle but works really well with the IOM. Looks great all around.

ya i am probably going to paint the rs emblems and the side emblems too just wanted to see how it turned out first it seams most people like it so ill do the rest of the emblems and re post it thanks

Hmm...I dont know how i feel. I like it, but not sure if I wanna do it.
Im goin for a similar look as you. I have a Vic Red SS with black rallies and have already blacked out the bowties (although i left the chrome outline), and ive blacked out the side gill vents. This idea is very interesting, thanks for sharing

That is sic, one of the best DIY Mods I've seen. I wasnt to big on RS tail lights, but this really brings them out.
