How much Wax Needed?

Got a quick question for the Wax experts here. I am going to try out Dodo Juice Orange Crush soft wax on my IOM, but am unsure what size to purchase. Autogeek has 2 sizes, 250 ml for $70, or 30 ml for $13. Since I am trying this stuff for the first time I was thinking of going with the smaller size. Does anybody know if this will be enough for a single coat on my Camaro? Thanks for any info.

I went with the small container. They had a 2/$25 special. It is plenty to do a camaro 3-4 times at least

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Not going to be waxing weekly or anything like that. Want to get a good summer coat on. I usually strip and wax every 6 months or so.

DoDo is neat stuff...remember the more the surface is prepped and perfect, the more gloss you get out of the dodo....

Roshan sent me a sample of Adams Americana wax. It came in a jar the size of quarter. It covered an Eclipse with no problem.

Lesson learned, apply thin coats of wax

Daily Driver....

It's a daily driver. Depending on weather I wash every 1 - 2 weeks with a Gilmour foam gun & Chemical Guys Honeydew Sno Foam, and a microfiber mitt. Then I dry with a nice microfiber towel and follow it up with a quick coat of Meguiars Quick Detailer or Mother's Showtime to keep the wax built between washes.

This time I got some Dodo Born Slippy Clay lubricant and a Pinnacle Ultra Poly clay bar.

The plan is to wash the car with Dawn to strip the existing wax from winter, clay the entire car, and re-wax with Dodo Orange Crush. I haven't clayed the car in over a year so it's probably due to remove some of the contaminants (especially after winter and the nasty pollen of spring).

As Otter said, THIN COATS. More product doesn't mean better, just more product you have to wipe off. It only takes just a little to a LONG way. A typical size tin of paste wax should last you for many years, depending on how often you wax. The small bit of Dodo should be good for several coats. Easily enough for you to figure out if you like it or not.
