Sad day in the life of the victory red john l sullivan camaro

Well it was a short lived experience but we loved it while it lasted. From day one this car was the talk of the town, first the unveiling, then CBS 13 news (Check out thier video on the web) and today while stopped for road construction...well see the sad pics of my baby. She was a beauty and took one hell of a hit, 70+MPH while my wife was at a dead stop. My wife is fine but the car is a lossName: camrao 1.jpg

Glad she is ok. What happened? Drunk driver? Looks like the cockpit held up pretty well for a 70 mph collision.

Sorry for your loss.

John L. Sullivan Unveilling

I was there at the John L. Sullivan Unveiling with "Camaro Generations" One of our members even got the first Test Drive because he won the raffle. I saw myself in some of the photos at the unveiling. I am sorry to hear that the Camaro that was there that night has already been in an Accident. I am glad the wife came out of the accident Ok. I hope that I do not have an accident when I get my 2SS Camaro from John L. Sullivan. It is still being built at this time. Here is my Camaro at the Unveiling in front of John L Sullivan and a photo of the new 2010 Victory Red as Steve Pope drove it back on the lot.

Wow, 1st and most important, glad your wife is OK.

2nd, that cabin did hold up quite well to a 70MPH rearending.

Red face

Glad to hear she is ok. I'm sorry about your loss. Yesterday my '10 camaro got rear ended with some good damage but nothing compared to this. I was in a construction zone as well. The whole sucks and I believe you and I bought pretty much the same car different colors. What a waste....I can sympathize with you and am sorry to see this.

Jayson71 - I'm glad to hear your wife is fine. At least she was alright, even if the Camaro was totaled. You can replace the Camaro with one that is exactly the same but you'd never be able to do that with your wife.

For all those people that complained about how much this car weighed, take a look...This is the second major rear-end collision and in both cases the driver was fine. Keep up the fine engineering GM.

Thats horrible :(

Since its a total, are you at least going to be able to salvage 'any' part of it? You should ask the insurance if you can pull the engine. There's some projects fitting a new LS3/LS99 into 1st Gen Camaros.

Sorry for the loss though

Hope your wife continues to be ok. I expect she will be checked out by the docs.
Sorry for the loss of the car. Glad to see it held up well.
