SOLO VS MRT

So, I've listened to tons of videos, and read tons of posts here, and I still can't decide. So I figured I would ask point blank. MRT (v1 or 2) or SOlO (Mach-X LLT)?

I realize one is an axle back, and the other is a cat back, but which one do you think sounds better (on an otherwise stock Camaro)? I've heard lots of love for MRT, particularly the v2, but next to nothing from people with SOLO's cat back. From the vids I've seen, personally I think the SOLO sounds the best, but I've not heard either exhaust in person, so I'm not sure if perhaps SOLO just used a better camera than all the MRT vids I've seen. So please, any personal opinions are welcome, in fact I'm fishing for em.

I haven't heard any of them. I just ordered the MRT V1 and some extra pipe for the J-Pipe Mod. I will be doing the work myself, and won't get to it until 2nd week of June.

I think a version of the J-pipe mod is all ready on the solo, but I am not sure.

Yeah, the SOLO exhaust comes with j-pipes on it. Get a vid up on youtube when you get all set, I'd be curious to know how it will sound with the custom j-pipes.

I have a few friends with the Solo's and they love them. Now I have a ss and have Solo's on my car too.How I know I have a v-8 ,but I like the set ups that my friend has and the sound is great for the v-6!

The videos I saw of the SOLO setup on the v8 sounded amazing, I was drooling by the end of it. I wish the SS had been a practical choice as a daily driver for me, I would have loved to own a car that sounded like that.

I have had the solo Mach cat back on my 2010 coupe and now on my 2011 vert. It sounds better than the videos and with the j-pipes there is no drone like you get on most. Remember with the solo cat back you also get a resonated x-pipe up front. The combination gives a great sounding V6. You won't be sorry.

I think the prospect of drone, has me leaning towards SOLO. I just wish it wasn't twice the price, but you gotta pay to play I guess.
