Matte Black paint (denim black) cleaning and waxing

Little off topic, I know there are some Harley guys (gals also) that have a Denim black bike and want to know if you wax you bike and if so with what? I have been on the Harley forums and not much about cleaning them on there. I have a mess of Adams stuff and just not tried to totally wax it yet, just wondering what some might use on it.

thanks in advanced

Most matte paint is clearcoated, so you can use most waxes and sealants just fine on it.

As always, if you have ANY doubt, test a small section first before you go hog (pun intended) wild.

I did try a small spot on the front fender and it looked good for a couple of weeks then it hazed up.

That's what I'm thinking. Sometimes nuba stains matte surfaces.

I bet that's your problem, for the same reason you don't want to use Carnauba on matte stripes, it's probably the same on your paint job.

Try a synthetic sealant. If you're shopping locally you should be able to find Meg's NXT 2.0. It's good stuff.

Of course, try a test spot as well, but I think you'll be ok with that.
