New 1LE owner.

Just picked up my new to me 2013 Camaro SS 1LE last week and I am in love! The car is an absolute blast to drive and we are taking her to Hallet Motor Racing Circut next month. The car has nice HP but is it ever enough! Looking to do some upgrades without effecting my 48,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. The cam will have to wait. Some ideas so far are headers and exhaust, under drive pulley and cold air intake. What else? I wam going to post some pics later on the exhaust. I suspect I do not have stock exhaust but not sure.

Congrats. It voids your powertrain warranty, not bumper to bumper.

I assume you are talking about the cam voiding the power train warranty? I am assuming the other mods mentioned do not void the warranty.

I had ARH put on, a ROTO Fab CAI, and an SLP performance exhaust system and a tune. I'm right at 500HP at the flywheel!!!! I'll post dyno results if you are interested. I also had a stiffening brace added. Next year - new heads and a bigger CAM.

Thats what I like to hear! Forgive my ignorance but what is ARH? I'm assumoing headers. I was looking at Hook long tube headers, CAI and maybe Borla Attack exhaust. What tune did you use?

A tune will void your powere train, which you will need with LT's to get rid of the CEL and get the performance gains to make them worth it.

JBA shorty's and thier high flows with O2 extenders is rumored to not throw CEL. Gains wont be great with out tune but will be there.

Mainly most who want to keep warantee throw in a CAI and cat back then call it a day until they are ready to let the warantee go or it expires.

Im going LT's, cam and tune soon at only 20k. I am willing to accept the risk and pay the price.

Am I correct that headers and exhaust will not void they warranty? its when you get to the tune and the cam that the warranty goes out the window.

So if you tune the car your power train warrantee is history ,but I have seen 2 cars that had a tune and according to GM the electrical failures the car developed were due to a tune and they turned down the claim . So proceed with caution.
