special thanks to vroom..I followed his pics perfectly - you can def use the stock diffuser - I actually took it off the car after the exhaust guy was finished and cleaned it up with a dremel sanding drum. I will probably cancel my 1Le diffuser on order.
Total cost was the 4 in tips off ebay and $152 to the exhaust shop - These guys are great -they love modding stuff - Mad Hatter Muffler - Pompano Beach, Fl

Looks good. I have to ask, what's up with the "SS" emblem, it looks well out of place. Needs to be much more to the right.

Ok, now you have me confused. I was talking about the SS emblem, it's not in the right location. It needs to be more to the right.

I understand...things like this are not too important to me, but I'll probably move it the next time I detail.

Here is a shot of my dual 4" quads installed with the 1LE diffuser.
yeah im wondering the same thing but yeah i didnt think they would fit, im fine with modifying the diffuser. family owned body shop soo it shouldnt be to hard

modifying the diffuser is way overblown after I dug into the project. It comes off with (6) 7 mm bolts and can be cut with tin snips/fiskars if you want....it certainly is an acceptable way to go until you have the $ for a 1LE diffuser later...

I'm sure you could get any size tips you want if you modified, but the stock opening won't take it. I originally bought an extra diffuser so I could modify it but just bought the NPP when the price dropped. Now I have 2 extra diffusers if anyone needs one.
