Meguires new wax

I was at the store buying some detail stuff and saw a bottle of Meguires Techno wax or something came in a black purple box and purple bottle. I held off because I have shelf full of stuff now. Anybody try this before.

What's wrong with the clay bar? I just used it this weekend on my '70. Does Mother's make a better one?

must be my paint then. I heard that sometimes the clay bars can be picky about the paint they're on. I used it before and it was good but I tried two different ones recently and both had the clay falling apart on my car. It really sucked. Took like an hour on my trunk lid and it just kept falling apart.

Mothers... IS AWESOME smells like cinnamon too that's what I ended up buying for my SS and it worked flawlessly

maybe the meguiar's put out a bunch of bad batches

Mine worked fine. A couple spots I didn't spray enough of the detailer to lubricate it and I noticed it would leave a residue, but it was my fault. Didn't have any other problems with it. I bought a 3-pack.

The Mothers bar I bought fell to the ground on my first use. :(

The Tech Wax works GREAT! Goes on easy. Comes off easy. Shines DEEP!

Yeah, I've been using this for a while. It is the perfect sealer. It's amazing after polishing.

After you wet down the section to be clayed give the clay a shot of detailer spray before you start, it helps.

It is a pretty good wax. I have used it for a few years and 2.0 lasts longer than the original. I'd say go for it ..

i have ice, nu-finish, nxt tech 2.0 and i bought the tech 2.0 the other day as the camaro's first wax because i read good reviews on it. it's only been a couple weeks and 3 washes(i use meguiars gold soap and microfiber mit), but it seems like the paint has lost the wax already. i dunno, i'm going to put some more on soon again and see how it lasts this time

*edit, just found you can do multiple applications of wax... does this sound right?

I don't use meg's soap. I use turtle wax zip wash from wally world its like $5 for half a gal and says 128 washes out of it. Its supposed to have wax in it so I figure it'll add a little every time I wash and dry it. After almost every wash I use the meg's quick detailer spray and it really smooths out the paint to the touch and makes it shine more. My paint always feels like a baby's ass

No joke, one time I saw a mesquito try to land on my car and it just slid right off. Car was dry.

Prior to switching to Zaino for my personal cars, I used Meguires. They offer very good products IMO.

When detailing, I offer people the choice of Zaino, or if they want to spend a little less money, I offer Meguires.

What's the biggest difference between Zaino and Meguires?
