Color matched intake manifold

Decided to try something different, color matched intake for my LFX also did valve covers. Complete pictures in my photo album.

I used Krylon Fusion paint, painted it white first two coats. Let it dry for 48 hours, than 3 coats of their bright yellow. We will see how it holds up over time. Thanks for the feedback, I know this is something different was not sure how it would be received.

Not the 2012, i will be supercharging the 67 and pulling off the nitrous. I have been toying with the idea off putting a 75shot of nitrous on the 2012 though. I was hoping to hit the track soon, but now its rainy season so i am not sure when i will get there plus its hot and humid for the next several months.

Man I would love to own a 1st gen.
Let alone modding it to be a 1/4 beast.

A shot of nitrous will really make the difference in your 2012.
Your suspension and other supporting modifications will compliment it nicely.

No sound pads going back on. look at my mods I'm not worried about some extra noise.

I have driven it since replacing the intake and VCs and I can not hear any difference with the sound guards removed. I did leave the bottom of the intake and lower intake plenum in white to reflect heat ( hopefully ).

100HP pills, bottle pressure @950 PSI. Front stock tires @65PSI, stock rear tires @28 PSI, held at 1,000 RPMs on the brake. Temp 61, DA= 225'. When the RPMs hit 3k I went on the bottle. I use finger activated switch so if I'm ahead I only use what I need to stay ahead and can stay at WOT the whole time on all motor.
