SS Diff, 3.91, jannetty posi mod. $?

I have an ss diff, oem 3.91, jannetty posi mod, and bmw bushings. Whole diff has 20,000kms. 3.91s posi mod have 10000kms. Had a new pinion bearing and new side bearings, when gears where put in. Nothing broke or blew just replaced when had the gear set put in. What should I get for it if I were to sell it?

Sorry I can't answer your question but what exactly do you benefit from the posi mod?

I say I'll come and pick it up off your hands for free- it's just a burden to try and sell it

...if you were to sell it $900-$1200 maybe

More clutch packs and a tight preload spring for the limited slip. Makes it alot harder for one wheel to lose traction. So for if you were to launch at the track you may get one tire spinning a lot and the other just hanging out. This helps keep both wheels doing the same thing. When you see a car doing a burnout and only one wheel is doing anything. This prevent that.

I've seen another one without the posi and only 7k miles on it for like 850 on here.
Another member has a 1Le diff with the axles for like 1250 shipped.
A lot of them are currently in the "classifieds" section. Check out what they are going for and factor in your mileage and posi mod..

Is it truly necessary if you aren't a serious dragger?

Maybe not truly necessary, but it just aids in traction. More traction is always a good thing
