"My" CGM 2ss/RS arrives..

The CGM 2SS/RS I ordered arrived at John L Sullivan today. Unfortunately the wait since December was worthless since they changed the deal, adding $4000 more to the price of my car, after stating it would be sold at MSRP with no markups. Yeah for waiting seven months for absolutely nothing!!!

Thanks for nothing John L, worst car dealership ever, the lowlife scum work there! Hope you read this Damien! Run and show your manager that we are "ruining your reputation" again. You know it is well deserved.

On the other hand, CGM is AMAZING! Took a few pics of "my" car, wow its nice.

Not in "writing" but he has posts on the forums saying they are selling at MSRP with no markups. Has stated the whole time that it would be MSRP to me. In his emails he never mentioned this added cost until 2 weeks ago. Also have an email from him saying that when i get my VIN, the price i pay is on the sticker. but guess thats not good enough.

Not sure if i am reordering now. don't want to wait another 7 months and don't know where else to go.

Has he said this on this forum? Have you talked to the owner and showed him the emails from your sales guy? We need to get the word out about these lying bastards. Got an email address on them?

He stated it on these forums yes, search Damien Tipper or DTipper and you will see it. I have talked the manager, general manager, and the owner and showed everything. They didn't care, and the general manager told SummoneR, from these forums, and I to basically screw off. I wrote in to KCRA3, the local news station recently, to hopefully get a report going on them. We will see how that goes. I am looking to contact more stations/agencies to hopefully spread the word , and let John L Sullivan feel the reprocusions of their mistakes. I will work on getting all of their emails together tonight and will post it up.

Talk to Paul (SummoneR) on these forums. Go read his post. Also, someone had suggested something but only if you haven't walked away with your deposit back already.

You still might be able to salvage this.

Don't think any V8 on the lots wil be available for MSRP. Best bet is re-order to get another by Dec. Good luck..

Man I'm sorry to hear this bro.... I feel so bad that this happened. I also ordered a CGM car from JLS which has since been cancelled and i've jumped to another "honest" dealer that others have already recieved cars from and recieved the deal they were promised...

the fact that the General manager told ppl to screw shows the complete lack of respect from this dealership. I am not sure this is all Damien's fault however. I have not spoken with him yet as I plan to call him tommorrow. Even though he knows the deal is off he has tried to contact me and left me a voicemail to call him. These decisions I think are made way above his level. Whether or not he knew about the "add-ons" is up for debate. cause if you think about it the first car did not show up until VERY recently. Internet sales managers don't decide that EVERY car is going to have 4100 in upgrades applied to them.... That is much higher up in the JLS foodchain. Having said that the only issue is whether or not damien knew about this in advance and How far in advance he knew this was a fact... Cause immediately all orders placed thru him should have been told "hey this is the deal".....

I specifically remember Damien telling me at the release something weird about "hey you guys can order a few upgrades to your car from us and that'll grease the deal" I can't quote him but he hinted at this happening. This was like the beginning of May. It stuck with my wife and I on the way back home cuz we were like "What the hell was he talking about" Why am i going to order chrome rims when i like the rims that are on the car that I paid for with the RS package???? It was weird but I forgot about it thinking that he was talking about "optional" stuff, not mandatory equipment in order for the deal to go thru.... This was the beginning of May so I'm thinking he had an inkling at least at that point....

And if it wasn't his fault, he obviously can't come on here and say "sorry guys it's the upper management making the decisions and i think it sucks"... If he does that in print on the internet he might be moving boxes in some warehouse working for Office Depot or worse..... I can understand saying nothing cuz the guy probably has mouths to feed.....

Just IMO.
