Yea the top top half of the panel is clear. I just need to figure out a precise way to sand the rest

Kinda late now, but they likely could have masked the area before painting and saved you a lot of time and hassle.

I was thinking the same thing. I tried emailing them about it before ordering but they never replied...

Try contacting them, maybe they will do an exchange. Can't hurt to ask anyway.

So....why did you order different door plates? I'm interested in:

- completing the lighting all the the way around the white door panels I have

- completing the lighting across the dash

- Installing footwell & cup holder lighting

do they have the supplies to do this?

Alright the dash is officially done! Two of the LEDs started acting up on me but I finally got everything to work. Also, there was a dull spot in the middle but i went back and added more weather stripping after taking pictures haha. I used a ton of weather stripping! the first time I did it the panel snapped into place and the lights were almost invisible so i used the weather striping to make a gap. It took like 2 or 3 layers.

The dash was pretty easy to do. Getting the wires through the inside of the car was the hardest part. Now I just need to mentally figure out how to do the doors haha

Hmm so RPI Designs kind of screwed me over with these door panels. They dont have any of the holes needed to clamp on the abl. They only have to ones used to mount the panel to the door. ON top of that, they dont repond to emails
I wasn't expecting to have to drill these holes and I really have no clue where to begin. Is there a template or something somewhere?
