strange CAM question

I was just wondering if there is a cam out there that doesn't make the car sound like it has a more powerful cam in it. All the clips I've heard, even with mild cams have that loppy sound.

The reason I ask is I was thinking of upgrades to get a L99 to about 400RWHP.
CAI , Tune, long tube headers, and high flow cat already on the list.

Thanks for the input!

Yes absolutely, not everything has to be lumpy. We also have designed a lot of 'stealth' cams as we call them, (aka 'wife pleasers') LOL. Great power without any indication that there's a cam there!

For that power you can get it with just bolt ons and a tune. LS9 cam is not very aggressive. But you will have to do an ls3 conversion for it.

Ok now I'm thinking. How much would it cost and what would need to be done? IE ls3 converstion, better springs, etc. Also would a ported intake improve the power made by a GT-11, LS9, or one of your stealth cams.

Again thanks for the replies I love this forum.
