F/S: Hurst Shifter Bushings

*******SOLD********I bought a shifter from another member, he had the original bushings plus the replacement from Hurst. My fellow members & the vendors that were making them did not have any in stock and I wasn't willing to wait for an uncertain amount of time to get them so I had someone make me a set. It wasn't worth his time to only make one set so he made me 10 sets including mine. I have 9 sets of these brass bushings with o-ring channels cut into them. I gave him my shifter, the hurst replacement bushings and had him make them to fit my shifter. I can confirm that these fit my shifter and work fine, I completed the install tonight. I had the channels cut for the O-rings because I didn't want the buzzing/rattling metal sounds. Ok...that's a lot of talking. I've tried to give you pictures of every aspect you might want to see and as much info as possible. I didn't have to make any modifications to these for (MY) installation, early 2010 SS model.

I'll provide the O-rings I used but you can always use your own (the ones from hurst are a tighter fit than the ones I used). With the O-Rings in I did have to tap the bushing into the shifter openings so the fit is very snugg, and because there is an O-Ring where the bevel meets the shaft I used some pliers to seat the bushings in place as they would not fit into the shift arm that goes into the trans unless I did (this took minimum pressure with a set of pliers).

I have almost no noise when accelerating hard in any gear including 2nd & 4th and no more play than stock that I can tell. I did use the noise kit on the shifter handle only (flat stick) for my install.

Hope this answers most the questions you might have. Again, I only have 9 pair, first 9 to PM...

$32 (includes bushing, O-rings)

If you have any questions let me know!

RRTX, I didn't try them with any other shifter so I'm not sure, but they were made using the hurst as the template.

If you will be in Dallas anytime soon and I have some we can try it if you haven't installed yet.

Hey Tag, I don't. I went to a couple of different sources to get more made because a few people still wanted them and the machinist all wanted to eat steak & potatoes instead of cold cuts and chips! Sorry Bro!
