When I bought my 1LE it was my first manual car in about 15 years I was a touch reluctant with it at first and figured I would roll the work truck more often... I got used to it and now the work truck sits unless I'm actually working. LoL

Oh another thing I think you might be looking at the edge of the trim piece that flows into the door panels. I'll double check mine but I think that's normal.

So the trim piece doesn't look flush with the other materials around it?

Mine looks like that too. The shiny dash trim is clear there on mine, it is fitting well, but looks like the OP's pic.

But don't worry CM, if there is a small problem there dealer will fix!

I think you are good. But have the dealer look at it if it still worries you.

It is really cool you chose the 1LE over an auto. You will have big time fun once you get the hang of it. If you always choose the safe choice you will miss out on much in life.

They are suede in the center and the back seats are all leather.

I'm understanding you when I think that you are focused on the silver trapezoid in the center of that red circle right?

If I am it's completely normal. It's just the end of the piece that goes across the dash to meet up with the silver panel on the doors.
