PO171 code after burning bank 2 o2 sensor wire.

So I replaced the wire and reset the PCM. I had a PO174 before the repair of the wire. Think I might have hurt the sensor?

I should mention that this was the O2 extension wire that was burned. Not the wire on the actual sensor itself.

It could have killed the sensor, I have seen it happen before.

You could change them from side to side and see if the code follows the sensor before replacing it.

How the hell is the L99 O2 sensor more expensive than the LS3? They have two different part numbers. :-/

I came on to check the same situation on my LS3, installed LTH the other day, check light came on, popped the hood drivers side O2 extension is laying against the header, I thought I had it tied back, wrong

Well verify your sensor is ok. My car has been running like poo in the midrange and getting weird mileage since it melted.

Yup! Replaced the sensor and its running STRONG again. I think my AFR is off during cruising. My MPG was down immediately after the tune during the 48 hours afterwards. How can that be adjusted?

Andys intake didn't appear to need any tuning in the part throttle range, but once the fuel trims settled, it may need some tweaking down there. How far off is it? Do a fuse pull now that you have the problem solved and see what you have. If that doesn't get it, probably just needs a little tweaking.
