Dumped exhaust?

Any you guys with the 5th generations camaro's.. Have you're exhaust dumped? Not with electronic cut-outs, actual old school dumped right before the axle? Or location?

Sent from my hip pocket.. While slapping 5th.. As you're reading my plate

I did and I hated it. I wanted to stab my ear drums out with dull pencils.

Stock manifolds
Hi-Flow cats
X-Pipe
Dumped just before the rear axle.

Eff that.

I cut my stupid mufflers off and put on Magnaflow's axle-back (no mufflers). Isn't that pretty much the same thing? It sounds effing amazing and everyone compliments me on my exhaust. Not sure why the guy above didn't like it. Maybe the x-pipe added rasp.

What you did was a muffler delete. He's talking about physically dumping the exhaust at the axle. Huge difference. Yours is quiet compared to that.

I had the same setup as you and it sounded great until I dumped it

Ya if you seen my thread below, I just posted a little vid. I have long tubes, stock H pipe with 3" cherry bomb bullets dumped at the rear! Sounds straight up nasty! Turn you speakers up bud... yes it drones... who cares! I am used to driving old school big cam cars, 3" exhaust always dumped. Its the only way to go... my car sounds just like my old school cars sounded like, like they belong on the strip! Going to run a 3" H or X soon and get rid of the stock pipe, and put turn downs off my bullets.
