Problem with rpm

I own a camaro ss 2010, imported from California to Slovenia (Europe). I hope someone can help me. The problem is when the car run in neutral, the rpm's vibrates for about 50-100 for around 30s. Then it stops. I visit already 2 services. First is authorised for Cadilac,Corvete,Humer and the second delas with US cars. Both told me that that`s normal, but i think it`s not.

So does someone have some similar experience and can someone help me with my problem ?

When you say "it stops," do you mean the car stops or the RPM variation stops?

Are you saying that it is fluctuating 50-100 rpm (550 RPM +/- 100RPM) after a clutch depress? If so, I am pretty sure that is normal. Mine goes +/- 200 RPM or more after the cam install (idle at 850 RPM). It is the idle control PID settings that are not quite perfect.

Bell040.... yes the RPM`s are fluctuatin.

Do you know maybe how to set the idle control PID so that there won`t be any fluctuation ?

You have to program the PCM which requires a tune or a factory recalibration. Most tuners do not mess with the PIDs, so you would need to take it to someone good. If it is under warranty... you might find a master tech that would give it a try if you complain about the idle.

Best bet would to be to get used to it. GM was pretty aggressive with the LS3 cam specs compared to older models... so you might not be able to easily tune it out with going to a milder cam.

Hopefully a tuner will chime in... because this is at the edge of my comfort zone.

Probably normal but just curious if you've added a Cold Air Intake recently?
