Muffler delete on an L99

Will it void any kind of warranties? How does it sound? Should I go ahead and get an X-pipe put in aswell. I just want a more aggressive sounding vehicle.

No. It won't void any part of your warranty.

i don't think it's void any kind , nice to go for muffler delete , better sound than stock and not very loud without headers.
i don't know what the X pipe effect with muffler delete , but just try without x pipe first to know the different..

here some L99 with muffler delete :

Muffler delete does not void your warranty.

It does sound good, but its not loud AT ALL, just a low growl.

AFM doesnt sound bad with the muffler delete.

My setup is perfect IMO. 1 7/8" LT Headers, HF Cats, STOCK resonator, SOLO axleback with j pipes.

My axleback has no mufflers, just the j pipe to eliminate drone.

You need to get the car loud, then quiet it down, which is what my resonator does.

Whatever you do, plan ahead. You will eventually get headers and make the car super loud, so be sure to have something along the way (resonator or mufflers) to keep it from being obnoxiously loud.

AFM has never bothered me in the camaro. I don't know if it's because I got used to it or what but the G8 was a lot worse! The wheel would shake when AFM kicked in.
