Could not find one without NPP, so we had to order the car. Once ordered, car got built and then caught in the quality hold. Even with all that, so very worth the wait to not have that option. No need for the extra noise on our daily driver. Too many situations it would be a nussence. Too each there own.

The NPP has all the aftermarket catbacks beat. I ridden in and driven in some 5th gen cars with Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow, and flowmaster. ALL of them have an in cabin drone at highway speeds at 1 RPM or another. NPP has NONE!

all hail NPP

Seriously though Chevrolet really nailed this catback!

Wonder if he used resonators? My 10 ss had Corsas and Resonators. No drone even when the cats came out. Only caveat is mine was supercharged, but I doubt that would have eliminated drone - just gas and tires

Relax. I enjoy looking at the 1LE statistics.

NPP all the way. Loud when you want it and quiet when you need it!

I thought it was loud on start up? Do I have that wrong?

Start up is pure eargasm.. my favorite.. and yes it is wide open at idle.. and wide open past 4000ish once modded you can really hear the difference.

right in the drone territory it is in quiet mode which is awesome for the highway and long trips so much more quiet.
love NPP and M2W.

Ok, that's what I thought. It was the loud start up that killed it for us. To many situations where that would simply not be acceptable. Thanks for the reply!

yeh it is loud especially with the LTs at cold start. and you are right. I want a 3rd mode for M2W or something like it.

A on or off type system would have been better, I agree. The Corvette I drove a few months back had that controlled by a push button. I do not think it was factory, but it was either on or off.
