Well I figured I can just get a cheap set for the rears for now and finish out the year. I'm thinking about doing a 15" wheel setup for the rear over the winter. I love John's (ECS Blue C6Z) weld setup. I tried contacting the guy I sold my weld setup to, I wanted to buy it back but he was like

. I'd also like to buy a motor sometime soon.

Couldn't get out of the 12s, track prep wasn't great as we were battling on-off rain. From a dig I just couldn't put hardly any power down 1st-2nd, and then I wasn't really on the gas till 3rd. I got a line on craigslist for some ET Streets and I'm in the works to find a set of corvette wheels to mount them on. No spray all day.

Probably going to island on Friday.
easy to find from sites online.. i got a set from corvette world for $165 ea but price has gone up since then.. not to mention there service sucks had to order multiply times.. they charge credit card instantly but i kept having to call to get them to send rims..

SlipStream Racing Events, East Coast Supercharging, E-Spec Industries, Undercover Tuning, and ProTuning Freaks would like to thank each and every one of you that participated in the D.O.R event!

Despite intermittent rain, we had a wide assortment of interesting, menacing, and powerful cars come out to strut their stuff on the pavement. Match-ups between street driven monsters and purpose-built trailer-ed race cars, that would never line up anywhere else in the world, got down to business!

All of the sponsors, drivers and participants played a huge part in making D.O.R. a fun, safe and successful event. We would also like to thank Atco Raceway for being hospitable hosts. We promise to deliver even more exciting and participant oriented events in the very near future.

With your feedback, we have made improvements to the event and will be sure to not disappoint. This IS the most sought after event in the ENTIRE NORTH EAST U.S.

If you haven't caught any of the action, jump over to our, or any of our sponsors pages, to see some of the best racing action found anywhere!

Gotta lose those 22"s, what're you a DUB boy? They're only taking away from your performance.

You got to get some of these then for the sides, then you'll be ballin'

I bought a set of Giavanni Kilis when I first bought the car, but I quickly realized as my horsepower rose and I started doing the suspension mods that they only took away from performance. Looks are one thing, but when you're putting down big HP, and I know you are, they'll kill you at the track. That's why Vettes have 19s & 18s.

With adjustable coil overs you could have a set of 20s on there and people couldn't even tell the difference.

A 15" set up is pretty involved. Just get some 18's. you don't race enough to warrant spending crazy money.

. Nice one. Yeah I mean when I was cam only it would over power these tires that isn't something that I don't know. I had a nice track setup but I sold it like a fool. More or less this is my personal preference to have these wheels on daily driving and also 360 Forged is a sponsor. I'm not out even using 1/4 of the cars power on public roads. For the time being I only really need two rears as I don't do enough racing really to buy a whole new set of wheels front/rear.

Eventually I'll buy another set of Welds but I think i'll wait for a nice deal on here instead of shelling out for new. I'm in no rush I'll go down the strip on whatever tire, I'm just having some fun.

Yeah I took a look at stangkilr's setup for sale/build thread. I'll get 18s as suggested.

Racing in the rain is never ideal, but the racers still got it in, safely.
Traction just wasnt there for RWD guys again.

I do know that there WILL BE SPEED/MPH TIMING at the next Events

Here's some of the pictures from the event:
