FSP Press Release - Shop Expansion

For Immediate Release June 14th, 2013

Bradenton, FL - EFI Tuning Concepts LLC., dba Florida Speed & Power, has made leaps and bounds in the past half year since our inception. Rodney Whittaker, and Matt Sorian, both having years of experience in the performance industry came together to bring their knowledge to Central Florida in December, 2012. Since then, FSP's customer base has grown locally, nationally, and worldwide. Due to the quick expansion of FSP both managing members, Rodney and Matt, have decided to expand the working space of the establishment.

Currently residing in an 1800 square foot shop at 6224 31St St. East / Suite 4 / Bradenton, FL 34203; Florida Speed & Power has taken over a second suite. The new address includes Suite 2, another 1800 square foot facility, doubling the working capacity to 3600 square feet.

In other news around FSP; Due to a very nice gesture from our friend, we have obtained a 5-Ton AC compressor/air handling unit. Plans are to install the HVAC unit in the main shop. Later plans also include moving the Mustang MD-150 dyno to the second shop, and installing further 2-post lifts in the main shop. Stay tuned for more updates, including the clean-up work and expansion into the new facility.

Most importantly, FSP would like to say thank you to our current and future customer base for all of your continued support.

Congrats on the success of your endeavours!

Did Gary get a new watch to commemorate the event? And, does this unit have a bigger than a closet shitter?

Hahaha... No new watch for Gary.

The bathroom is the same size, but you have to check out the redone current bathroom. Mom and granny came down and made it quite nice, blue walls, Cars photos on wall, its a 'poopin paradise'.

Thanks guys, as we looked around the new shop we saw that between 6 cars we had about 5400HP between them lol.

It is actually 2 doors down, so no. We now have a clean room for all the motor work, and a dirty fabrication area away from the main shop.

Plan is to AC the main shop, and keep the dyno separated into the new shop area. The goal is to keep the main shop doors closed as much as possible to save on the AC bill, and keep it cool as possible. By 3-4pm in the work day we are just spent from the heat, it is about 15* hotter inside the shop than outside too so it will hit triple digits easily. Now, just need someone to install the AC! AC first, then we can move the dyno and add another lift.
