The front bumper definitely has to come off but I was more worried about my led's. Fortunately there was just a single harness for each port so It was pretty straight forward. There is nothing like having a body shop do something like this. What took him an hour would have taken me forever. I purchased a landing pad from a fellow member but it wasn't necessary. I just took off the bowtie that came with the grille and snapped mine in. I should be receiving it soon so if anyone needs one ill be selling it so just pm me if interested.

Looks great! I have a heritage grille too and i love it! Wasn't sure if I really liked them, but now that I have one on mine and I see my BFs, I wouldn't go back

Also, love the led's!

I really like the grill, I had one sitting in my garage while waiting for my car to be built. Soon as I got it home, I installed the grill along with the other mods while the weather was lousy.

got mine on today - it is so easy to get the front end off this car. I have taken off some Honda and Nissan front ends and they have push poppers everywhere and when you put it back, it's loose. Chev uses bolts, and it's tight when it goes back. Also positioning pins make it slide on and off perfectly. Tip: take the end bolts off under the hood, last....Kudos to Chevy:

so what do you do with the old grill? - what else? make it art in my man cave!
