The bracket looks like a good stable design.

The can itself sells for much cheaper thats what i was refering to, its the bracket you customized and that reflects the price correct?

Any word on it's effectiveness compared to the Elite or RX units?

People spend more money on non-functional show mods that do not help protect their engine.

Very nice... I like where this is setup out of the way of future mods.

Ummm..What does that catch can have to do with a ZL1 catch can??? also I should just open my wallet because I own a ZL1? Moroso does not make a ZL1 specific catch can, the one that is for sale in this forum is for an SS and the bracket alone is ZL1 specific..

It's very simple... don't buy it if you feel it's too pricey. That'll just be one more available for someone else who doesn't feel the need to piss and moan about the wording of the product and understands the incredible quality of the parts that Ted sells.

On a lighter note, the setup looks fantastic.

I think he was just pointing out that some catch cans for other cars are much more costly than this one.

I think as a forum member, if im aware of that same exact catch can is available cheaper somewhere else I should let you, as a fellow forum member, know. And since when did it become forum member vs forum member? I have no reason to dispute the products Ted sells, but the fact is in the op opening post it says that "Moroso visited JRE a few months back to take measurements to design a catch can for both the Camaro and the ZL-1."

I was under the impression that Moroso and Janetty came up with an entirely new catch can design and not just a bracket..

And I agree, the setup does look fanastic

The price has been updated. The price on the website was from the original paperwork given to us. It's a little bit better now.

The reason why Ted's is higher is because you get a nice bracket that makes the installation 1000 times easier to install.

people like myself are willing to pay a little more to know something isn't going to be a PITA to install.

Ted, just to make sure. The hose on the passenger side of the can goes to the upper fitting on the intake, right?

I ordered a can from Kris and I'm making sure I do everything right.

To prevent oil ingestion (aka oil blow by) from going in to the upper half of the engine which absolutely does nothing but make a mess and possibly gunk up the top part of the pistons along with nasty oily deposits on the valves.

Its just like boiling water to purify it. The oil vapor from the crank case is sucked through the CC, the oil falls out of suspension from the vapor, collects in the can, the clean air is drawn back into the intake.

Ted, is this cc considered a single valve or double? Also is one better than the other for the ZL1?

Ted.
A few questions:
Where do the two oil lines coming out of the top of the can connect to on the engine?
Are these lines connecting to the engine replacing existing lines?
Does turning the ball valve on the bottom completely drain the can and how often should it be drained?
Will these be available in black?
Thanks for the help.

I like this catch can a lot. I found a test video from Moroso with a clear version installed on a CTS-V so you can actually see how it works. Pretty cool. Is the new price listed on your website?
