BP Gas: 93 Octane...

High volume gas stations like Quiktrip have a lot of sediment constantly floating around in their underground tanks due to constant activity of pumping/filling.

Quiktrip, etc.. doesn't sell 93 octane, only 91 and below.

BP Gas sells 93 octane and doesn't sell near the volume so one could assume they don't have near as much sediment floating around in their premium tanks.

Something to consider.

Where can you find 93 octane in the Denver metro area? All I have found is 91

I think BP sold off all the gas stations in Colorado. :/

93 octane is not available in Colorado to my knowledge...

Shell V-Power 91 octane is the best fuel in the Colorado Front Range, IMHO.

Keep in mind the Quiktrip 91 is probably pure gas, while the BP 93 is likely E10.

Not sure I buy the "sediment" in the gas theory. You'd think if there was a lot of constant turnover/emptying of those tanks, there wouldn't be that much sediment building up. I wouldn't worry about that, anyway. The pumps have filters (don't they?), and a higher volume place is probably more likely to change them more often.

All fuel grades sold in the Colorado Front Range are now required to be E10 fuels year around.

Brad's Conoco advertises no ethanol

There is a Conoco in Lakewood that advertises no ethanol. 91 octane is about 30 cents more per gallon. Is that worth it? I also found Sunoco 100 octane for about $8 per gallon.

Seriously?...what happened to that state? It's like a new, smaller California.

Ironically, about the only place in the country where you can easily get ethanol free gas and without a big price premium is Iowa.

Correction: Quik-Trip DOES sell 93 octane. I could have swore it was only 91...

93 Octane E10 available @ Fantasy Phillip's 66 stations in Omaha, NE. I've run this since the car was new.

Went to get some 93 at lunch for a race Sunday.
The Roadranger stopped carrying 93.
Spent 2hrs searching stations and internet and calling stations.
Found some 25 miles away.

Did have some locals answer my local posts few hours later-one should be about 5miles out.

We need a sticky.

Tim, you're out of control!!

The best we get in California is 91. If only we had 93.
