wow... it would be incredible to see something like this at the fest.. some vendors may look at this and balk, but to step up would be huge... for everyone else at the fest and forums and especially for Stig.. this guy put heart and soul into his Camaro and even extended to help a lot of people out here.. would love to see something like this happen for the guy

This is one of the coolest things that I have ever seen. What a great show of solidarity in these times for people to help a fellow enthusiast get something back that they've lost.

Some of the parts do not lend themselves to parking lot installs. Good thing Raymond's Performance is in INDY. RJ, we'll figure out this whole thing before too long. BTW: Tag U R It.

Didn't at least one or two of the vendors there last year have trailers with lifts in them?

Probably, but I didn't notice any track side alignment machines Most of my Dealers will be busy during the FEST at the CamaroCross. Anything we do we want done Pedders Perfect and that takes time. RJ is a long time friend we'll be fine.

This is awesome! To all the vendors who are willing to donate, C5 members should support them whether buying stuff from them or whatnot....for those vendors who do not care, it's pretty obvious that all they want is your money. Stay away from them! I have high respect now to the vendors who pledged their support to this guy. Keep it up! I hope the C5 Fest is somewhere around CA so I could join.Kudos!

I wouldn't necessarily say that the vendors that don't support this don't care. They either may not have seen this yet, or don't have the spare parts lying around, or even may have parts on back order. Unless they come out and say publicly that they don't care, or just don't want to, it doesn't mean that all they want is your money.

That said, the companies that are donating parts will be remembered for this opportunity I'm sure. It is a very publicized/well known car and building RJ's new car up will be pretty well documented I'm sure.

WOW! That's what is all about! On good times we have fun! On bad times we support each other! That's family! My deepest respect for vendors making a horrible nightmare turn to a dream come true!!! I'm so proud to be part of this wonderful site! Having my car is awesome, become part of C5 is PRICELESS!!!

I can not think of many people who loved their car the way RJ did and it is a real shame to see something like this happen to such a great guy!

For more info please see here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133607

We need YOUR help to make this work!

He had a ton of aftermarket modifications on his Camaro and from experience I know the insurance company is simply not going to willingly replace his aftermarket parts.

I would like to see the Vendors here come together and help make his next Camaro whole again by donating the parts that made Kaylee such a special car. I propose that we not only donate the parts but we install everything at the fest and unveil it to him "Pimp my Ride" style

If you are a vendor here then look at this list and see what parts are yours and lets start scratching them off the list!

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133607

Here we go:

Advanced Automotive Concepts and ORACLE Lighting will be donating:
- 22" RGB scanner light
- ABL interior LED conversion kit
- ABL front & rear footwell lighting
- (5) chip license plate LEDs
- Ghosted LED concept side markers
- High power LED reverse lights
- Chromed turn signal bulbs
- Concept side mirrors

Don't see your product on the list but want to help anyway? Post up!

For those vendors that have relationships with the manufacturers listed above get in touch with them and see if they are willing to help this worthy cause!
Wow. I'm honestly floored Justin - thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. I'll buy the first round (or first couple) at the parking lot party Friday night!

Come on venders step up, thanks guys for stating this thread.
Thank you Ofer - you've always been an amazing friend. Not only to me personally but to all of Camaro5.

Thank you much Kyle. Bushings really are the foundation of any good suspension

Wow, this is really cool. I'm not sure what made the "cause Camaro" worthy of rallying around, but a good thing's a good thing. Nice job to the vendors that contribute.

Man, you can't really call a vendor out for not caring in this situation. These guys are running a business. Contributing to stuff like this makes a vendor a good group of guys, but that doesn't inversely mean that not contributing makes someone rotten or money hungry.

Sometimes inaction is a call for outrage, but this is very far from one of those times I think.

Cool thread.

Wow. And this is why I proudly have a C5 sticker on my car...this forum and its members/sponsors are just amazing. For those of us who won't be at the fest, please please please post a video or at the least, pictures!

Stig is not that far from me if he is up for it and other vendors. I will install everything that can be done before the fest for free and supply some parts. All of this stuff is not going to get done in a parking lot or even at a shop out there in a few days.

That is what we are hoping to accomplish, glad to see the idea is gaining some traction

What can we do to help them see this? Could we maybe add it to the homepage?

I know that RJ and I have done some business but without looking it up, I have no idea what we've helped him out with in the past.

We'll step up and hook up all the Vmax stuff and toss in a Mike Norris Catch Can to cover the Rx one that he most likely got from us that we don't do anymore.

I know he had a hell of a lot more lighting on there as well so (Jonathan or Justin) lemme know what's missing and we'll see about helping that out too.

I call bs... most ppl on this site love their car the way RJ did. unfortunately, many don't have the means to put into mods the way he did. nevber saw a thread donating parts to those hard workin folks. no offense, but this sounds absolutely ridiculous.
