3.73 or le 3.91?

which would be better in a 2011 ss a6? for 1/4 times and just a dd. would the LEs 3.91 be to much? and how far off would my speedometer be?

ok so did some looking and new questions..is the only real downside to the 3.91 that I would shift at end of.the pass?and how much would that kill me 1/4 time? really it mostly a dd so if that one issue at the track is the only problem wouldnt be too.terribly concerned

For the A6 I would think the 3.73 would be better. Your first gear gets real short with the 3.91. I know it is real short on my LS3 and your first gear is already short. You would also have a easier time hooking up with the 3.73

I agree. The auto trans is already geared lower that the manual so you can get the same performance without going as aggressive in the rear. 3.70 would be the better all around option for a street driven A6 SS.
