Wheel question

I know that I have read about several people being unhappy with the finish on their wheels. I removed all of my wheels to make it easy to put the GM splash guards and Gorilla Locking Lugnuts on my wheels. The finish is good on the outside, but the wheels have the appearance of having been sprayed from the outside and literally have bare metal showing on the inboard side of the wheels. Basically only overspray hit the inboard side of the wheels.
My question is: Is this normal and OK or is this a reason to expect GM to do something about it?
Thanks for your help!

Ok guys, thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to make sure that I was not letting something slide that needed attention.

This is not normal.

It's pathetic.

Yes all of these wheels may have been finished like that, but that doesn't make it normal. If I had paid 60k for a ZL1 there is absolutely no way I would accept these.

When the wheels are completely 100% clean (it's hard to do I know) look in between the spokes at the edges of them, they have light spots as well. It is unacceptable for GM to allow these to be place on a car for production. It is bad enough they are painted not powdercoated and will scratch by just looking at them, but they have a Macco paint job as well.

Oh and GM cust service, I don't need your automated response to my rant, it won't help things.
