RX lost me as customer for good. I've tried to reach them for damn near two weeks now via any means possible: phone, email, twitter, facebook. Not one response!

Steve at Elite has been very responsive. Sounds like JRE is a good option to for the Moroso.

Oh BTW, thanks for the write up!

Mine should be here Wednesday from JRE. Plenty of time before Friday night at the drag strip. It will be Jessica's first time ever and bone stock atm. It'll be my first time in 15 years... I just hope I can lay down a respectable run or two.

I've seen it done, but with a good catch can, you won't need 2.

Best regards,

update

It's been three months and roughly 300 miles later and I decided to check my Moroso can. I'm amazed at how much oil has been caught (by the can) and yet it sickens me to think of all this crap going inside an engine without a can. And yet GM continues to say this is acceptable.

So here's what my can has caught roughly three months later. I'd say there's easily one to two ounces of oil in there.

Just got mine from Jannetty today (they were out of stock for a few days). Installation was a breeze...except for getting the factory PVC hose off. Once that was off, it was very straight forward.

Nice kit! Thank you Bumblebeecamaro for the recommendation and Jannetty for the quick delivery.

Being new to the ZL1 and Camaro 5, I read all the posts I could find to help me decide what catch can to use. With my former car that was totaled, Challenger SRT 8, before I decided to get this one I used catch can from a company that doesn't make them for Chevy's. I saw lots of people say the RX can was the best and as I checked out what was available, I felt like they were. I ordered mine, and paid for it on August 4th. I hadn't received it or any correspondence in six weeks and now I see this thread about people having problems. I've emailed and called (at least 20 times and no one ever answers). I finally get an email saying "sorry and will get your in production next week". That was on 9/18. It's been 2 more weeks and still nothing. I've called again and again and just tried emailing again. Has anyone else had a problem with them? Should I be worried about getting it at all? Should I be trying to get a refund and getting a different one? I just really want a quality catch can and don't think it should take 3 months to get it. Especially when the company doesn't even communicate with you or answer their business phone. Any advice is appreciated.

Others have had issues with said company, get a refund if you can, if they won't work with you work it through your CC company.

On another note, when I changed my oil last time I emptied my Moroso catch can into a solo cup. It caught up to the first line in the cup. That was also after 2 autocross sessions so I'm glad I went with the Moroso can.

Edit, I guess technically it was the second line. But it was 5 oz.

Thanks for the help everyone. I indeed went ahead and filed dispute through PayPal and they are going to give them 10 days to recitify situation by either producing tracking number that my order is shipped or refund themselves. After that, if not resolved PayPal will refund my money. Then I will buy a different can. Probably a Morrosso from what I'm seeing here. Thanks again.

From the top the can looks ok,but when its viewed from the side i just think its ugly from the way it sits and the bottom half,I know it works good or seems to ,but i think the new Apex can is a much better looking catch, but to each his own..thanks for sharing anyway..
