I saw an episode of Speed Racer where oil slicks and tacks were used to win. I'm also sure that such a mod would not invalidate your warranty, but your friend might be upset about it....

M6 no problem, but the autos usually dyno 30-40 hp lower than the manuals, from what I hear.

This is just a dumb comment. If his v6 beats the v8, why would he buy the v8? I bet he still spent less if not the same. And I think it would be much more fun to say my v6 can take your v8!

That's true, I think if he did the mods I listed and added a 3.91 gear, he shouldn't have a problem. But...

By the time you take in all the cost to do those mods, he should just go ahead and get a Maggie...

You figure
Headers 1000
CB 1000
Cai 500
Gears installed 5-700?

You already at 3k+

I know you could probably find a Maggie used for around that price.... New are around 6-7k I believe....

Some V8 guys just hate this. (And by some I mean those that say "It's just a V6 ")Others know the V6 can be faster, and do not slam them , And like you said , A V8 beating a V6 is no big deal , The other way around just has to demoralise . Either way Just proves Stock is not the way to stay if you dont want to eat crow,

It is a proven fact 2 SS emblems is not as fast as 4 SS emblems.

That V6 needs to know what its messing with.

Once it sees the SS emblems it will slow down.
