The only tint I have on my car is the strip along the top of the windshield. I have had the car over a year now and have not had a need for tint on the rest of the windows yet.

Window tint was the first thing I did after bringing her home from the dealer. It's a must have mod...

I've always had tint on my dd including my wife's car. I just wasn't sure about tint on a convt. If I do decide on tint, I would go with either 35% or 50%. Just want to look alittle suttle.

Thanks

2 options available: 1) what you want, or 2) what your state allows... Darker is better IMO.

Down here, you're crazy not to have it. The UV protection alone makes it worth the price. They even make "clear tint" for the entire windshield now for added UV shielding. Some northern states are still uptight about tinted windows. Stay within the legal limit to avoid the hassles.

I wouldn't have bought the car unless the dealer tinted the windows. More pics in signature link.

In the state of Mi. The law allows only the top 4 inches on the driver and passenger side windows. Most of the cops are fairly lenient as long as its no darker than 35% on the side glass. I have 5% on the side windows of my DD, and I've only been pulled over once in the 12 years that I've owned my truck. Well I'm gonna have to give this some serious thought. Thanks!

Yup, that's what I did. Legal on all 3 + UV'd the windshield.

I am waiting for the winter. You can't roll the windows down til the tint cures. There is no way I am going to keep the top up in the summer!

Night Shades did mine. 35% on the sides, 20% on the tiny rear windows and the back window. Sun strip, too...

Makes the car much cooler inside and looks fantastic!

The percentage represents the amount of light that gets through the window, so 5% would be VERY dark.

Tinting makes such a huge difference when it's hot outside, couldn't imagine not having it - 35% in the front and 5% around the back and everything is legal

Out the back? Why do you care about whose loosing?

Just kidding - in all seriousness yes, if it is a poorly lit area having heavy tinting on the back window does make things a little difficult when the top is up (like backing out of the driveway and hoping that your neighbor didn't park their black civic right across the street) never had an issue though and that is what the sensors are for
