2013 Camaro fog lights

My mom was told today as she brought in her brand new 2013 2LS Camaro that she can not get a set of factory fog lights installed in her Camaro. They said that you can not install fog light in the 2013 models.

I call . However since i dont have a 5th gen (Yet) and i live on the other side of the US then her its hard for me to be 100%. Maybe im not aware of something or maybe like in most cases the dealership doesnt know what they are talking about.

Please let me know whats up. Thanks.
Jason

There are several aftermarket lights that you can use to upgrade an LS Camaro. I bought one for mine.

If the car has the blacked out openings for the DRL's then I say you can. Not sure if it's pre-wired for it but hell, you can always install the lights and run your own harness for power, ground and switch inside but I too agree its BS! I'd go to another dealership to see about installing them. Hell my dealer told me I couldn't install the 4 gauge cluster but I did on my 2010 1LT/RS.

Yes she has a 2LS. I think she would prefer the stock ones.

Don't quote me because I am still new at this myself (But this is based off mine) you would have to buy all the wiring, the harness, the bezels, the lights, bulb and there is no switch in the interior to turn on/off. You can splice the wiring into your Marker or Parking lights though, so they automatically come on and off. Haven't seen too many that have done this with the Manufacturer stuff though. Here is some links to some kits:
