Noweeds or Cat-Back

Have NPP now. fuse always pulled. not loud enough for me personal. should i get a Noweeds kit, or i was looking at the SW 3" Catback system? both are bassically the same price.

Get a good set of headers and it will be loud enough.

Are they going to honor the warranty of your aftermarket cat-back? Installing headers without a tune is fine if you are concerned about voiding your drive train warranty.

You will get a little power from them and all the sound. Another cat-back really won't do what you want unless it is a muffler delete.

Adding another catback won't make it louder. The only way to make your car louder would be to add headers, or do the noweeds. You get performance gains with headers, and none with the diverters. They can't void your warranty with headers, and you don't need a tune to run them. If you don't want a CEL you can get Kooks headers with Green Cats, and you won't throw a CEL, and you won't need a tune.

of the 2 options, you will like cutouts (Noweeds) much better.

I have had 4-5 different exhaust setups on my 2010. I wasn't ever truly happy with the sound until I got the cutouts.

However, you will end up with headers if you have any interest in doing performance mods... so you might as well forget about that warranty... and join in on the fun

From what I have read the H-pipe actually sounds better than the X-pipe. I don't see any reason to change it either way. Use that $ towards something with some bang!!

Make sure that cut outs are legal in your area before putting them on. Especially since you guys have inspections in Texas.

The dealer can not void you warranty due to adding headers or anything else. They can only deny a warranty claim if the issue in question is a direct result of the modification.

Will This Modification Void My Warranty?

Headers changing compression? Who at the dealer did you talk to?

Legality of the mod doesn't change the warranty status.

Not the headers. They don't care if i put them. They just don't know about a dyno tune. And what's the point of getting one of the best mid range mods. And not using it like ur supposed to. And no way in hell I'm paying $1100 for green cats
