gt21 cam thoughts?

I will be building a 427ci engine with prc 285cc ls7 heads a fast 102 intake mani and 102tb and new valvetrain parts with shaft rocker arms and new camshaft but cant decide what to go with since i dont want to risk to much torque. So i have been seeing the gt21 cam from lingenfelter and dont know what to think it sounds amazing and the hp numbers seem amazing vut thw torque seema alil low. Any thoughts?

what kind of RPM are you after here with this motor combo? Considering you are an auto I'm guessing 7500rpm or less.

Is this motor going to be an Ls3 based stroker 427 bro?
Or an LsX block or Ls7.

On this build my .2 would be to talk with Andy at ADM. When I was talking to him a while back about the torque number I was wanting I think he said its do-able in the 427. He also deals a lot with Lingenfelter cams. You might even find a similar build on one of his threads.

My choice would be a lsx427 but if my goal could be achievable thru the ls3 ill go that route since its more cost effective

I know you probably already have done so, but why not call around to a few reputable shops and get some answers and options from them? They should be able to give you the answer you're looking for.

Reason I ask is because the PRC 285's require a minimum of 4.125 bore. I'd actually try to stay aluminum. 416 would be the biggest too, there won't be much difference between either one. Especially since your going for boost.

That cam seems a little too much. .700 lift gawd damn! Lol

Your going to need a custom cam. One that will give you what you need now with 10-1 compression. But also will shine when the blower gets slapped on.

Honestly I think Andy at ADM can do that with no problem. He has multiple builds listed. Most of them are with turbos or supercharger but I think he also has posts of dyno runs/numbers of both boosted and N/A.

Hahahaha..... Right!!!
That's one of the reasons I want VVT on my car. I feel like I will be able to get max effort out of my car while staying n/a.
