Well I am selling my SS for a great offer considering I've been in two wrecks now. One front end hit and run then I was rear ended by someone on their cell phone.

Now I am in market for a ZL1 in AGM. Any recommendations as far as transmission and break in?

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Really depends what you want the car for and what you prefer. Currently this is my daily and I do a lot of city driving, so I did not want to mess with a manual trans. I do enjoy the paddle shifters though, fun to play with.

I broke mine in kinda of hard, at least harder than what is recommended. I know GM says not to but a lot of the shops around here said they break all cars in hard. So far I haven't had any issues except for a squeaky drivers seat now, which is really annoying!

Just so you know there is no fix for the seat issue. They did everything on mine from a TSB to a whole new seat and it still squeaks. GM was actually going to buy the car back because I complained so much but I decided against it.
I should mention mine was the passengers seat, maybe you'll have some luck with the drivers seat.

Stopped by the dealership this morning, and of course the seat would not squeak when the service manager was taking a look at it. Just my luck!

UPDATE with the Car,

As you know I had a terrible squeak/creak in my driver seat. Took it to the dealer and told them that there was a TSB for it. Thankfully they were able to fix it!

Next update, the more fun one (or should be..)

I spoke with my clubs sponsor (Late Model Racecraft) about getting some PFADT Tri-Y headers with cats in by this past Friday, they said no problem. Well for that to work out PFAT had to air ship them, no big deal. I took a day off of work for this, I get to LMR they do a dyno pull pre headers and take off my OEM headers. Weeeeell as the day goes on no headers have arrived. LMR calls PFADT and they sent them ground shipping, which wouldn't get them here until next week. LMR convinces PFADT to overnight the headers so they can install/tune today. Well I got a phone call around noon, turns out PFADT only sent the headers and without the cats or connections... So now I am without the Camaro until Tuesday at the earliest

The whole point of doing this install/tune Friday/Saturday was because I am busy every weekend until Mid December and work is getting VERY busy, what makes things worse is that my ZL1 is my daily driver. This whole scenario has put me in a serious bind.

What is crazy is that I have had the absolute WORST luck with PFADT. My 2010 Camaro was sporting PFADT ONLY suspension. The springs in the rear were too short (early design) so I had to get PFADT's "updated" spring design and have them swapped out. The end links constantly made a popping sound, turns out those are PFADT's "old" design, they sent me the new ones at cost. I just cannot believe all the issues I've had with PFADT with my Camaro(s).

In the meantime here is the sound of my (stock) exhaust.

Perhaps. Depending on how PFADT handles this situation I may be going exclusively to another company for future parts, such as Pedders. I was paying to have the PFADT Tri-Y headers air shipped to me (cost over $200 to do that) and they still want to charge me the air shipping even though the messed up TWICE and I am without a car until Tuesday.

My shop has a set of American Racing Headers that they can throw on, and I'm seriously considering that since I had them on my 2010 Camaro and loved them. However these PFADT Tri-Y appear to be the best headers out there.
