Issue switching catch cans?

Hypothetically if someone wanted to change from one brand of catch can to another, do they all hook up to the same lines? I would assume you would just disconnect the one you have, put the new one in and reinstall the lines that you just had connected. Is this correct?

I was asking because the Mike Norris can is opposite from what you'd think it should be. The lines are the same but the place you put them on the can are reversed.

And that's fine. I'm just making sure I done need to replace any lines that I've already cut when installing my current catch can.

The lines would still go to the same spots, but depending on mounting/bracket location you may need to get longer lines so they can reach to the can.

Okay not to thread jack or anything, but how come you guys are switching? Is it because of all the negative reviews lately involving Rx?

I've been wanting to switch for quite a bit of time, I just really dislike the RX drain valve but was living with it. But all the recent crap regarding RX has pushed my over the top to switch. I just can no longer support a company that is run the way RX is run. They need to stop making excuse after excuse after excuse, clean house and get their business in order.

LOL.....

I was curious to see so many Mike Norris CC orders last week. Now I know the "official" root.

Appreciate it either way fellas!

Not the can, but RX seems to be going downhill quick. Do a search, read the posts, then make a decision on your own.

Thanks for your order. Depending on what time your order was placed it is either already out the door or will be tomorrow.

Yea there's nothing wrong with the RX unit. It catches oil that's for sure. I just HATE the drain setup. It's a hassle every time I wanna empty it.
